Morning Brief: The City Remembers

Thirteen Years Ago Today

Today's the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Memorial services will take place all over the tri-state area, from a citywide moment of silence at 8:43 AM to smaller services all over New Jersey. This is also the first anniversary where the 9/11 Memorial and Museum is completely finished--up until this year, just the memorial waterfalls were open. The renowned "Tribute in Light" memorial beams will point skyward throughout the night.
