The Bronx Zoo's animals will soon have two new buildings to get care.

The Bronx Zoo might soon feel like the Bronx spa for animals.

The Wildlife Conservation Society broke ground on two buildings that will have space for animals to relax, get health treatment, and just be, well, animals.

The society's executive vice president, Dr. Robert Cook, says it's part of the group's larger mission. "What we have invested in with today is the things that we need to do behind the scenes in order to really promote that wonderful connection with wildlife that we give our guests every day."

The Wildlife Conservation Society expects to open the buildings next fall.
