90.7 FM Blends Political Humor and Music Along With Election Results

There’s election coverage and then there’s WFUV’s election coverage.

Tonight, WFUV will air election results, along with smart political humor and great tunes, starting at 9 and running until midnight (or later if necessary).

News Director George Bodarky and WFUV anchor/reporter Claudia Morell will handle the election coverage, while Eric Holland will control the music side of things. The evening will also include political humor from comedians Scott Blakeman and Brad Stine.

"People have choices when it comes to election night coverage,” said George Bodarky. “So why do the same old same old?  We didn't see the need to hijack the airwaves with wall-to-wall talk when that's available in so many places. So we're giving listeners another option -- isn't that what election night is all about anyway?

We won't have snazzy graphics, but we're hoping people will watch cable news with the television volume down and the radio up."
