Full Train Service to Resume Wednesday Morning, M.T.A. Says

Metro-North Railroad plans to resume regular train service on the New Haven Line on Wednesday morning, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority said Monday afternoon.

“We are confident that the reconstruction work, inspection and testing will be completed in time for a normal rush hour on Wednesday,” Howard Permut, Metro-North's president, said in a statement.

The shuttle train between New Haven and Bridgeport, as well as the bus connection to Stamford will be used again on Tuesday.
