Jersey City boosts security after Boston bombings

Tighter security is in place in New Jersey's second largest city in the wake of the bombings at the Boston Marathon.

All guests will be screened before the Jersey City mayoral debate on Wednesday evening.

Jersey City Police Chief Tom Comey says events attended by large numbers of people require an increased level of screening for the safety of all.

Mayor Jerramiah Healy is urging residents to be patient and observant of suspicious activity.
