Take that Chicago!  The Second City’s earned its nickname once again as the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat has decided that One World Trade Center is the tallest building in the U.S. The 1776-foot WTC beat out Chicago’s Willis (formerly Sears) Tower when the Council decided that its 408 foot spire was indeed that, and not an antenna. One WTC’s now officially the third tallest building in the world, behind Burj Khalifa in Dubai and the Makkah Royal Clock Tower Hotel in Mecca.
