She has prosecuted some of the worst perpetrators of crimes against humanity as an International Attorney and Transitional Justice Program Director for The Center for Justice and Accountability.  Almudena was also in the documentary How To Nail A Dictator and was on Time Magazine’s list of the 100 Most Influential People.

Both actor Saul Williams and playwright Todd Kreidler sit down to talk about the show’s message, Tupac Shakur’s legacy, and how both of those found a way to mix on the stage.

Cityscape: The Roaring 20s

F. Scott Fitzgerald’s 1925 masterpiece novel “The Great Gatsby” will once again come to life on the silver screen next week.  The latest film adaptation of the novel stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire.  The movie promises roaring 20s' glamour, excess and excitement, but we thought, why should Hollywood have all the fun?

There’s election coverage and then there’s WFUV’s election coverage. 

Tonight, WFUV will air election results, along with smart political humor and great tunes, starting at 9 and running until midnight (or later if necessary).

News Director George Bodarky and WFUV anchor/reporter Claudia Morell will handle the election coverage, while Eric Holland will control the music side of things. The evening will also include political humor from comedians Scott Blakeman and Brad Stine.
