Long Island Digs Out from Blizzard that Dumped 2 Feet
Snow is still piled as high as street signs on snowy Long Island as residents continue to dig out from the storm.
Cars are fish-tailing on sloppy side streets in parts of eastern Suffolk County.
Officials say snow has been removed from all county and state roads, but some side streets still need to be cleared. Huge snow piles are being moved to beaches and fields to help clear the roadways.
Schools were still closed in some towns on Wednesday, but most businesses have reopened.
The blizzard dumped more than two feet of snow in some places and left two people dead.
