On Deck: Is Pittsburgh Done in the NL Central Race?

by Kenny Ducey

The Pittsburgh Pirates trail the Cincinnati Reds by 6 games entering Wednesday, and they're 4-6 over their last 10 games. Some of their early-season success stories like James McDonald have become a distant memory. They hold a Wild Card spot in the NL, but it's by just one game over the Cardinals and Giants.

So, we're asking you: Can the Pittsburgh Pirates win the NL Central? Can they even hold on to the Wild Card spot? Is Andrew McCutchen MVP-bound?

On Deck: Who's Taking the NL West?

by Kenny Ducey

As the pennant races come down to the wire, I'm watching the NL West. The Giants have let the Dodgers back in the race, as their lead has shrunk to just a game. With both teams making big trades at the deadline, we could see new heroes on the west coast. While all of this is going on, the Diamondbacks quietly sit 5 games back entering Sunday.

Who will win the NL West? Do the Diamondbacks have a legitimate shot at getting into the playoffs? How many wild card teams will come out of the NL West?

On Deck: Is Mike Trout the AL MVP?

by Kenny Ducey

Kris and I would like to wish Mr. Mike Trout a very happy 21st birthday. Everyone agrees he's put together a very impressive season, the only question that remains is if it's an MVP season.

With his current standing in all of the major statistical categories, does Mike Trout get your vote for MVP? if not, who do you have winning the award in either league? Is Trout at least a lock for AL ROY?

On Deck: AL West - the Best Race in Baseball

by Kris Venezia

The American League East is wrapped up. Let's be honest, there's no one in that division to dethrone the Yankees before October. With that in mind, the AL West (Angels, A's and Rangers) looks like the race to keep an eye on.

The Angels and Rangers made arguably the most noise at the trade deadline, and all three teams sit within striking distance. Right now, the Rangers lead the division, but there's a lot of games coming up between the three clubs.

On Deck: Yankees Face Tough Lineup at Comerica

by Kenny Ducey

Coming off a series win against a red-hot Mariners team, the Yankees are in Detroit to play three with the Tigers. After the Yankees' recent struggles, nothing's a sure thing at this point.

This week on the show, we want to know how you think the Yankees will fare against the Tigers.
