There were several times when Rams fans probably thought another winnable game had gotten away on Wednesday night. Not this time. Fordham (8-10, 1-4 A10) overcame an 11-point first half deficit and a 10-point second half hole to defeat the Patriots of George Mason (7-12, 0-5 A10), 76-70.

Roach commented on the success of the women's basketball team, Patrick Murray signing his first NFL contract, the future of the men's basketball program, and took some listener questions as well.

The Rams are 7-6 heading into conference play, and coach talked about how disappointing the last two games (an eight point loss to Harvard at home and a ten point loss to Siena on the road) have been. We also looked back on the non-conference portion of the schedule.
The Fordham football team had to decline their invitation to the 1942 Rose Bowl because they previously had accepted an invite to the Sugar Bowl. 74 years later Fordham arrived in Pasadena in the person of two noted alums.
