The head and assistant coach from 70-71 are excited for a rebirth of Fordham hoops
Digger Phelps and Frank McLaughlin are no strangers to success, and they know that Rose Hill is ripe for basketball glory.
On Monday night we had a chance to talk with both Digger and Frank at the 2010-2011 Season Tip-Off Dinner. Both men were honored for their coaching roles with the 1970-71 Fordham team that ended the season ranked #9 in the country. Aside from reminiscing on past glory, both men insist that Fordham can be a regional and national power once again.
