Fordham Starts Conference Play Off Right

Rams secure 82-75 win thanks to strong games from Frazier and Gaston

The Fordham Rams are 1-0 in conference play for the first time in 7 years. Fordham wrapped up an 82-75 win against Duquesne on Wednesday night in the Bronx, and it was a career night for Branden Frazier. The Ram point guard set a new career high in assists with 13 to go along with 16 points.

Fordham controlled the rebounding battle in this one as well, out rebounding the Dukes 49-34. Some other players who really got involved in this game were Ryan Canty and Ryan Rhoomes. Canty had 12 points in just 16 minutes of play, and Rhoomes had 7 points and 7 boards in a physical effort.

The Rams also tied their highest scoring output of the season on Wednesday night. They also had 82 points against Monmouth on New Year's Eve.
