Coaches Joe Moorhead, Tim Cary, TE Dan Light, S Levon Williams
Last Saturday's victory over the Sacred Heart Pioneers, 37-27, marked the first time the Fordham Rams won a playoff game at Jack Coffey Field. In advancing to the second round of the FCS playoffs, the Rams improved to 7-0 at home and 12-1 overall, both are now Fordham records. Fordham Head Coach Joe Moorhead hopes the team can continue their record shattering season. He sat down with Mike Watts and Nick Logerfo to recap and analyze this home playoff win.
Coach Moorhead talked about what this win means to him, the team, the porgram and the university. He also disscusses the Rams high powered offense and the defensive effort in the second-half to close out the Pioneers.
In the X's and O's segment Safety Coach and Recruiting Coordinator Tim Cary chats with Mike and Nick about the strong play of Jake Dixon and Levon Williams this season. The guys talk about scheming for both the run and pass. Coach Cary also descibes his weekly duties as Recruiting Coordinator.
Then, Mike goes Inside the Huddle with Safety Levon Williams and Tight End Dan Light. Levon talks to Mike about his big game with two fumble recoveries and brakes down his key interception. Dan also had a big game and discusses his career-high nine catches, as well as his role as Michael Nebrich's go-to reciver on third down.
The show concludes with Coach Moorhead's keys to victory against Fordham's second round opponent, the seventh seeded Towson Tigers.
