Words with Producers and Director of Bronx Bombers

Bronx Bombers is the latest sports drama from producers Fran Kirmser and Tony Ponturo, the team responsible for 2012’s Magic/Bird and 2011’s Lombardi. 

I got a chance to interview the producers, director, and entire cast in December at Bronx Bombers media day. 

This is the first of four articles highlighting different interviews from that day in preparation for the play’s opening night.

ESPN’s Buster Olney Talks A-Rod Suspension and Baseball Hall of Fame

Buster Olney seinor writer for ESPN the Magazine was able to join One on One shortly after the breaking news of Alex Rodriguez’s 162 game suspension.  He talked about whether the full season ban was surprising to him, what kind of precedent this set for Major League Baseball moving forward, and if the disgruntled third baseman will ever play again in the Majors.
