Verne Lundquist: 2014 Vin Scully Award Winner

It might be easy for Verne Lundquist, who is now in his 50th year of sports broadcasting, to gloat about his long list of radio and television achievements. But that wouldn't be his style.

Truly humbled, and always reverential to his predecessors, Lundquist graciously received the seventh annual Vin Scully Lifetime Achievement Award at Gotham Hall in New York City on Thursday night.

April 24th marks two weeks until the NFL Draft. That’s 19 weeks until the season kicks off featuring two of the league’s best teams in Green Bay and Seattle.
