Fordham Gets Revenge, Drops Lafayette 42-18

The Fordham Rams got revenge for last year’s loss in Easton, Pennsylvania with a 42-18 victory at Jack Coffey Field over the Lafayette Leopards. Fordham moves to 2-0 in the Patriot League after the win, which featured two rushing touchdowns from reigning Patriot League Rookie of the Week Chase Edmonds and three touchdowns through the air from reigning Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week Michael Nebrich.

One on One's NFL Friday Week 5

WFUV's Kenny Ducey and DJ Sixsmith cover all the latest NFL headlines, starting with the Thursday night football matchup with the Packers and Vikings. Then they moved on to cover the local New York sports teams - the Giants and the Jets, with the help of the weekly reports from Giants beat reporter Kristian O'Hara and Jets beat reporter Kelly Kultys.

A-Rod Looking Forward to Return

BOSTON -- There is positive news regarding communication between Yankees GM Brian Cashman and Alex Rodriguez, for a change.

While the team says goodbye to longtime Shortstop Derek Jeter, it prepares to welcome back A-Rod, who's suspension will come to an end after the Yankees' final game Sunday, with open arms.

“I’ve already been talking to A-Rod personally," said Cashman. "I reached out to Alex about ten days ago. I talked to him trying to get his thought process on what’s the best way to come back."
