Mets Supporters Team Up to Get David Wright Starting Spot in All-Star Game

The '#VoteWrightNow' campaign seemed to have gotten a bit out of hand when the Mets decided to bring in CougarTown to get more votes, but as their fans showed, the campaign worked to perfection; David Wright secured the starting job at third base in Tuesday's All-Star Game.

Considering the team is hurting for anything positive, the showcasing of their players All-Star game seemed to be the Mets' top priority for the past year or so. For the next few days, though, no amount of campaigning will influence NL Manager Bruce Bochy to pick Matt Harvey to start the All-Star Game.
