Coach Joe Moorhead's message last year to his team always including going 1-0 that week. So far this year, that's exactly what his team did. Despite the fact that star wide receiver Sam Ajala missed today's game as did linebacker Stephen Hodge, the team stepped up to bring home a 52-23 victory. Chase Edmonds was the star of the game for Fordham, replacing the graduated Carlton Koonce in the backfield. Edmonds put up 181 yards on the ground and two touchdowns in his freshman debut. Mike Nebrich had a solid day going 11 for 26, with 188 yards and 3 touchdowns.
