PATRIOT LEAGUE PREVIEW: LEHIGH

 This is the sixth of seven articles that preview the 2012 Patriot League teams.  They are in the inverse order of the preseason poll voting by Patriot League football head coaches and sports information directors, who did not include their own school in the selections.

Fordham was not included in the poll because it will not be able to compete for the Patriot League championship and NCAA automatic bid in 2012, and its games against League members will not count towards the final standings for either team.

PATRIOT LEAGUE PREVIEW: HOLY CROSS

Last season, Holy Cross finished with a record of 6-5. The Crusaders finished over .500 thanks to a mini 2-game win streak to end the season, which included victories over Lafayette and Fordham.  If they finish above .500 in 2012, it would mark their 8th straight winning season.

Jets and Giants Writers Debate

They discussed Lukas Rosol's upset of Rafael Nadal, what to look for going into the 2nd week of the men's draw, and how the high seeds like Maria Sharpova and Victoria Azarenka will fare on the women's side.

He talked about The Golden Voice of Vin Scully, his tribute to the long time voice of the Dodgers and WFUV/Fordham alum, his upcoming baseball album Doubleheader, and the July 4 concert in Cooperstown at the Baseball Hall of Fame.
