Ryan Ruocco Talks Brooklyn Nets and NBA Playoffs

Another Game Seven is upon us.

In an unprecedented first round of NBA Playoff action, the Brooklyn Nets are making sure they’re a part of the drama. Ryan Ruocco, Nets play-by-play announcer for ESPN and the YES network, and WFUV alum, joined One on One to break down Brooklyn’s Game Six victory. He also commented on the immense amount of nose-to-nose playoff basketball and gave his opinion about Zach Randolph’s Game Seven suspension against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Ryan finished by giving his picks for three Game Sevens tonight.

Nets - Raptors Playoff Preview

Now that the dust has finally settled in the 2013-2014 regular season and the playoff matchups are set, let’s dive into the only playoff series that will be taking place in New York, the sixth seeded Brooklyn Nets against the third seeded Toronto Raptors.

The Nets might have stumbled into the playoffs, losing four of their last five games all against sub-.500 teams, but there is no doubt that falling into a series against fellow Atlantic division member Toronto is more beneficial for the Nets than a series against the Chicago Bulls would have been.
