Just a few days into the first round of the NHL playoffs we've seen 3 overtime games, fines, season ending injuries, a 13-goal game, and WWE style wrestling moves. And to think  we're on tap for another 6 weeks of this intensity. Two of the Stanley cup favorites are already down  0-2, While another has lost an iimportant piece for the remainder of the playoffs.

Jesse Spector of the Sporting News joined Kyle Kesses and Amit Badlani on One on One to discuss the playoff madness.

Postgame Report: URI 78 Fordham 58

by Andrew O'Connell

In a do or die game for the Rams on Wednesday night, Fordham failed to live up to the same motto that caps off its fight song, falling to URI 78-58 on the road. The loss ended the maroon and white's hopes at its first Atlantic 10 tournament berth in four seasons.

Postgame Report: St Louis 66 - Fordham 46

by Kevin Price

A torrid first half effort was spoiled in a matter of seconds as the Rams woes continued against the second place Saint Louis Billikens. With just over a minute remaining before the break, Fordham trailed 20-16 on the strength of a staunch defensive effort that made up for a sputtering offense. A pair of threes off the bench from Billikens small forward Cody Ellis pushed the defecit to 10 points before the halftime buzzer, however, a defecit from which the Rams would never recover.

Postgame Report: Richmond 102 - Fordham 58

by Andrew O'Connell
Fordham SID's Office

Coming off a 44-point loss to St. Bonaventure on Saturday, one could have easily predicted that Wednesday night’s game against Richmond could not possibly go any worse.  That hypothetical prognosticator would prove at least partially correct, as the Rams fell by 44 once again, dropping a 102-58 decision to the Spiders in the Robins Center.

Postgame Report: St Joe's 80 Fordham 62

by Andrew O'Connell

Langston Galloway tied a career high with 30 points on 10-14 shooting, including 7-9 from beyond the arc, as St. Joe’s downed Fordham 80-62 in the Hagan Arena Wednesday night. The Achilles heel for the Rams came in the form of field goal percentage on both sides of the ball.

Postgame Report: Xavier 67 Fordham 59

by Ricky Cibrano

With expectations high after knocking off Georgia Tech and #22 ranked Harvard in their last two home games, Fordham came up a little short Saturday afternoon when hosting the team that’s been the class of the A-10 for the past decade, the Xavier Musketeers. In a back and forth game, the young Rams yielded to the Musketeers 67-59, falling to 7-8 on the season and 0-2 in the Atlantic 10.

Postgame Report: UMass 80 Fordham 76

by Andrew O'Connell

Fordham’s first loss in four tries had some eerily similarities to the last time the Rams dropped a contest. A few weeks back against St. John’s in Madison Square Garden, the Red Storm went on an 18-0 run midway through the game to build a lead that proved insurmountable in the end. Last night in Amherst, Massachusetts, UMass, leading by just one at the intermission, rattled off a 14-0 tear in just over three minutes early in the second half.
