2014 NFL Draft Preview: Taylor Lewan

WFUV Sports will once again host live pick by pick coverage of the NFL Draft from Radio City Music Hall in New York City.  Throughout the week leading up to the draft we will look at draft prospects, team needs, and discuss the draft with top beat reporters from around the country to provide comprehensive coverage of the National Football League's premier offseason event.

One on One with "Glickman" Director Jim Freedman

On August 26 at 9 PM HBO premiered "Glickman" a documentary by James Freedman about the life of broadcaster Marty Glickman. Marty was special to all of us here at WFUV, especially the students he taught in a 12-year period between 1988-2000. 
 
Spero Dedes. Marty's final Fordham pupil, and current student DJ Sixsmith talk with Producer/Director James Freedman about his association with Marty, which began as a 17-year old high school student, They talk about the reason for making the documentary and what it was like to put the film together.

One on One Talks NHL Lockout and College Football

NHL writer for Sporting News Jesse Spector as well as NY Post college football reporter Lenn Robbins dropped by One on One Saturday. Talking to Kenny Ducey and myself, Spector hashed out the landscape of the NHL labor negotiations, explaining the big sticking points and what the lockout thus far has meant New York area teams.
