Jack Coffey Field was silent a mere two weeks ago when starting quarterback Michael Nebrich left the Bucknell game with a knee injury. Today, the Fordham fans cheered once again as he returned to the field. The Rams fell last week without Nebrich, but the offense took off with his return, marching 65 yards in under two minutes to give Fordham an early 7-0 lead this afternoon.

They would not look back.

Fordham scored four touchdowns on their first four drives of the game, and when all was said and done, the team racked up 8 trips to the endzone.

But the Rams rallied back, thanks to a Mike Marando field goal, to give them a 23-21 lead with eight minutes to play. It was a long eight minutes as the final 60 seconds alone featured turnovers, penalties and a blocked field goal, but Fordham hung on for the victory.
