As the clock ticked to zero, the scoreboard read 52-7, a resounding victory for Fordham to keeping them undefeated for the season. However, just a half before, the Rams went into the locker room up just 10-0 and having blown an opportunity to score right before the half. Coach Joe Moorhead said the offense needed to come out fast in the second half, and they did.

The last time Fordham beat Villanova, Warren G. Harding was the president of the United States. The Rams snapped a 93 year losing streak to the Wildcats with an emotional 27-24 win over the eighth best team in the FCS. The win is hands down the biggest during the short two year tenure of head coach Joe Moorehead and more importantly keeps the Maroon and White undefeated at 2-0.
Coach Moorhead took a few minutes away from his URI preperation to sit down with me on One on One. The second year head coach leads a program that made one of the biggest turnarounds in FCS a year ago.
