Fordham Women's Basketball
It has been nearly a month since the Fordham Rams lost a game. The Maroon and White extended its winning streak to six this past weekend with a dominant 75-49 victory over previously undefeated Holy Cross. Fordham’s 7-2 record is the team’s best start since 1994 when the program made its only NCAA Tourney appearance.
Prior to this season, head coach Stephanie Gaitley had never been to the third round of any postseason tournament. The Fordham Rams changed that with a 58-44 victory over the Boston University Terriers in the 2nd round of the WNIT. The Maroon and White takes its show on the road for the first time during this tournament against 2012 WNIT runner-up James Madison University.

The Rose Hill Gym was rockin’ yet again in the Bronx, and Fordham led the majority of the game in their WNIT Round of 32 win over the Terriers of Boston University. The Rams earned their 26th win of the season, the second most in a campaign in program history (one shy of the program record).
