Decisions, Decisions for the Yankees

by Steve Simineri

This season’s Yankees Opening Day roster consisted of twenty one returning players, and the lone noticeable loss was of stalwart Jorge Posada, who retired in January after seventeen seasons in pinstripes.

Here are five reasons why I like the Yankees to be victorious in the ALDS not only because of who they are facing, but because of the players donning the Pinstripes this year.

Wouldn't Bet Against the Yankees

by Steve Simineri

Other than missing the playoffs in 2008, Derek Jeter and the New York Yankees have been to the postseason every single season since 1995. Through the years the venerable captain has been through all the wars, but none quite like this years.
