Hank Gola, golf writer for The New York Daily News joined Jake Kring-Schreifels and myself to break down the Masters’ Tournament. Gola gave his Masters’ prediction as well as analysis on the Tournament without prized golfers like Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. He gave insight into the course and how the golfers will fare over the next two rounds.
Pierre Davis, who was the halfback for the Rams football team in the late 1970’s, visited Kenny Ducey and myself in the Media Center at the Barclays Golf Tournament. Davis, who entered the Fordham Hall of Fame in 1984, is also the Head of Volunteers at the tournament. He told us what the duties of the volunteers were, how many of them were actually golf fans. He exlained why pictures of players on the course aren’t allowed.
On moving day at The Barclays, Hank Gola of the New York Daily News was kind enough to join us as we reacted to the first two rounds at Liberty National. We discussed Tiger extensively, as well as whether or not Gary Woodland and Kevin Chappell would last atop the leaderboard. And, of course, Hank gave us his Sunday predictions.
