Support WFUV:

Member Line Giveaways

Free tickets and other offers through the WFUV Member Line (718 817-4535) are one of the highlights of station membership. It's a voicemail system where we list upcoming events, and if you'd like a chance at tickets, you leave your information at the extension number for your event choice. Join or renew: WFUV Contribution Form or 877-WFUV-907

We strive to give members quality offers to upcoming shows by working directly with venues, bands, and promoters. We work hard to post multiple pairs of tickets on the Member Line, and to offer different shows every day. Tickets are then offered to WFUV Members on a first-come, first-serve basis.

These are the rules, which you can also hear on the Member Line:

  1. You must be a current WFUV member in good standing.
  2. Tickets are given out on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  3. Members can only receive tickets, movie passes, CD's or any other merchandise once every 30 days.
  4. For most tickets, you must leave your name, phone number and WFUV Member Number. For CDs or books, or for tickets that need to be mailed, you will also be asked to leave a mailing address.
  5. If you use the voicemail system to mark your message as "urgent," it will be erased. That trick takes it out of the order in which it was received, so we're unable to determine the fair order it came in.
  6. Due to the extremely high number of ticket requests, we can ONLY call you back if you WILL receive the tickets. You'll get that call within 48 hours from the time of your request. If you're not available, a message will be left at the phone number you leave on the voicemail.
  7. Members themselves must call and receive the tickets (ie: You can't call for your sister or mother)
  8. Once you are notified of awarded tickets, they are yours - we cannot "deactivate" your ticket offer if other plans come up.

Thanks for your support, and thanks for listening!
