Thunderpussy: 2018

There’s no other band quite like Thunderpussy on the festival circuit right now. The Seattle-based quartet is a local legend, thanks to electrifying live sets that are ferocious, fearless, erotic, and best of all, a lot of fun. Thunderpussy’s vivid chemistry, on stage and in the studio, is one of the many reasons why this hard-rocking band was picked as a 2018 NPR Slingshot artist.

Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats: Forest Hills Stadium 2018

Like The Head and the Heart, WFUV has been on board with Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats since the release of their first single. So when Rita Houston and I co-hosted a live broadcast from the WFUV Clubhouse at Forest Hills Stadium on Friday night with both bands, there was a lot of "FUV LUV" in the house, and fans shared their adoration with us all night.

The Head and the Heart: Forest Hills Stadium 2018

Almost a decade into a career that began at open mic nights in Seattle, The Head and the Heart rolled into Forest Hills Stadium last night. The band has a long history with WFUV that includes playing our 2011 Holiday Cheer for FUV show at the Beacon Theatre only months after their debut album came out.
