Fordham (6-0) and Lehigh (4-1) seemed nearly even through 29 minutes and 40 seconds. A 40-yard touchdown to Sam Ajala with 13 seconds left in the first half proved to be a turning point, as the Rams outguned the Mountain Hawks down the stretch to extend their unbeaten start.
As the clock ticked to zero, the scoreboard read 52-7, a resounding victory for Fordham to keeping them undefeated for the season. However, just a half before, the Rams went into the locker room up just 10-0 and having blown an opportunity to score right before the half.
