Dreaming of Spring in Central Park...

A large-scale art project will be bringing a new flavor to Central Park in the late Spring. According to the New York Times Magazine, the experience will be happening each Friday and Saturday afternoon from May 15 to June 20, and will include things like an ice cream truck with sunset-colored flavors, recreations of famous movie scenes, and a boat with a brass band navigating the Harlem Meer.

New York Officials Confident DNC Will Be Held in the "Greatest City in the World"

The chair of the Democratic National Committee, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, was in New York City on Friday. She was scouting the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, which could hold the DNC's big event in 2016. 

No Terrorism Link Seen in Jewish Center Stabbing

A man with a history of mental illness slipped into the headquarters of a major Jewish organization in Brooklyn in the middle of the night Tuesday and stabbed an Israeli student in the head as he was studying in the library.
