Kevin Devine - Another Bag of Bones - Recorded on The Alternate Side
Kevin Devine was born and raised in Brooklyn. It's true. He doesn't have a New Yorker's accent and doesn't carry an attitude. Kevin learned "Crush" by Dave Matthews to impress one girl while studying journalism at Fordham University, but give him a break, it was 1999. He continued to write and perform new material at the D-Cafe on the Lincoln Center campus.
Fast forward to 2009 and he is on the verge of releasing his fifth studio album Brother's Blood on Favorite Gentlemen Recordings. We at The Alternate Side, and, of course, all of you, are lucky to get an inside preview of the new album. Kevin began working on the new record with acoustic guitar in hand, and that's how you're going to experience three new songs (check back for more videos this week). We can't say anything but good things about Kevin; we think you'll feel the same. Enjoy!
