Montclair, New Jersey. Not only the home of arguably the coolest suburban music venue, The Wellmont Theatre, but also to a talented singer-songwriter named Jenny Owen Youngs. Jenny recently released her sophomore album, Transmitter Failure, a pop-rock album with vintage stylings, ranging from rockabilly guitar to ukulele folk to straight ahead indie rock. It's incredibly catchy and fun, and it's been playing on repeat here in The Alternate Side offices as of late.
