Timber Timbre: TAS In Session

Earlier this spring, Toronto indie rockers Timber Timbre released their fifth album, a haunting collection enticingly christened Hot Dreams. Eerily cinematic, there's a bridge between Hot Dreams and singer Taylor Kirk's recent experience composing a score for a horror film. Matching melodic menace with Kirk's idiosyncratic, commanding baritone, Hot Dreams might be one of Timber Timbre's more ambitious—and unsettling—undertakings.

The trio is in the midst of a North American tour and in late April they made their way to the Bronx for a video session of songs from the new record: the title track "Hot Dreams" and "This Low Commotion."

Below, watch videos of Timber Timbre in performance at The Alternate Side and FUV.
