The 2014 WFUV Feastival

The WFUV Feastival: Enjoy a live music feast this Thanksgiving (and beyond).
by

It's been a big year of live music on FUV, with our first-ever live coverage of the Clearwater Festival and a return to Celebrate Brooklyn for three exclusive broadcasts. Add those festivals to an already long list of FUV Live events, including SXSW, Newport Folk Festival, CMJ and shows at venues around New York City, and it's no wonder our WFUV Feastival tradition can't be contained to just Thanksgiving Day.

We kick things off on Thanksgiving at 10am with Damon Albarn's SXSW performance and run through midnight with St. Vincent at Celebrate Brooklyn closing out the evening. Then the live music continues on Friday from 10am-2pm and 6pm-midnight — and these aren't just leftovers. Hear performances by Holiday Cheer for FUV artists Conor Oberst, Laura Marling and The Lone Bellow, and the Newport Folk Festival sets (Conor, Jeff Tweedy and Mavis Staples) are airing on FUV for the first time.

Check out the full schedule below (plus links to shows in the FUV Vault) and don't forget WFUV's other Thanksgiving Day tradition: Arlo Guthrie's "Alice's Restaurant" at noon.

Have a happy Thanksgiving and thank you for listening. And big (BIG) thanks to everyone who helps brings FUV Live to life: artists, record labels, venues, festivals, sponsors, WFUV members and Team FUV.
