Bettye LaVette got started in her teens touring with soul singers like Otis Redding and Clyde McPhatter, but has branched away from her soul roots over a career that includes working with The Drive By Truckers, and now interpreting the songs of Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd with her album, 'Interpretations: The British Rock Songbook,' which she performed during a conversation with WFUV's Claudia Marshall.
