One of my favorite things about WFUV’s Marquee events is talking with our listener members after the show about the artist and hearing how excited they are about the performance. There’s something about music discovery that comes full circle when you see the enthusiasm of an audience watching an artist for the first time. Our show with Caroline Rose at Littlefield was a prime example.

Seeing so many FUV supporters in the crowd, smiling and moving along with the songs, spoke to the beauty of the live music experience. It also reflected the craft, musicianship, and humor onstage as Caroline and her band (and a couple of Elmos) treated us to a set featuring songs from her 2018 album, Loner. It's one of my favorites of the year, so if you weren’t with us that night in Brooklyn, make sure you have a listen here, and watch some super fun live performances, too.
