Tonight five candidates will spare in the first televised Democratic debate of the 2016 presidential election season. Four candidates - Bernie Sanders, Martin O'Malley, Jim Webb, and Lincoln Chafee - who are all trailing in the polls behind Hillary Clinton will utilize the broadcast time to entice some of Mrs. Clintons voters. CNN has set aside a spot for Vice President Joe Biden in the off chance he decides to throw is hat in the ring. It starts tonight at 8:30 Eastern Standard Time.
