Why Dreamers are part of the social justice mission for Catholic academic leaders

The Trump administration has rescinded The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.  DACA lets undocumented immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as children remain in the country under certain restrictions.  Now time is running out for Congress to decide what to do legislatively. Deciding what’s next for this group of so-called Dreamers has become a polarizing issue for many Americans.
