Get to know Dan Luke and The Raid in this FUV Live session. Although the Bowling Green, Kentucky band breezed into Studio A with youthful exuberance and exuded positive energy, they've dealt with far more than their share of misfortune and loss in the few years they’ve been playing music together, including the death of guitarist Dylan Graves in the spring of 2019.

Their impressive debut album, Out of the Blue, was produced by frontman Dan Shultz's older brother, Brad Shultz of Cage the Elephant, and it features the songs "Fool" and "The Golden Age," which Dan Luke and The Raid serves up here in Studio A. In between tunes, the younger Shultz talks about bands he admires and reveals some details about growing up in his musical family. He also discusses the dividing line between lead and rhythm guitar and other tidbits.
