Ten years ago, three leading Long Island musicians—Stuart Markus, Hillary Foxsong, and Glen Roethel—formed a trio, Gathering Time, drawn together by a love of folk music and harmony. They earned a reputation as a cross between Peter, Paul & Mary and Crosby, Stills & Nash.

When Glen departed after their second album, another veteran Long Island singer, songwriter, and guitarist, Gerry McKevney, stepped in without missing a beat.

Gathering Time returned to Studio A to share songs from their new album, Keepsake, and talk about plans for the second annual Crossroads Folk Festival in Malverne on Long Island, which they will co-headline with Tom Chapin this Sunday, June 12.
