Belfast’s Naomi Hamilton recently released her latest EP as Jealous of the Birds, called Wisdom Teeth. The new EP builds on her 2018 release, The Moths Of What I Want Will Eat Me In My Sleep, and demonstrates continued growth as both a writer and as a recording artist.

Having seen the impressive full-band version of Jealous of the Birds, I was thrilled to have them up to the Bronx for a session in Studio A. I talked to Hamilton about that live band, her poetry that influences her songwriting, and what’s next for Jealous of the Birds.

Listen to that conversation and watch great live versions of “Marrow” and “Blue Eyes.”
