Monday Night Quarterback 9/16: Temple Analysis, Columbia...
Moorhead, Slutzky, Nebrich, and Marando talk about monumental Fordham win
After a thrilling 30-29 win over Temple, the Rams have received numerous national attention and accolades. With some calling the win "the best in the modern Fordham football era", it's easy to see why the program is in such a good mood. We were on location this week, in the Fordham football locker room, to get the scoop on everything Fordham football after such a defining moment in the young 2013 campaign.
Coach Joe Moorhead took Mack Rosenberg and me through some of the game's pivotal moments and told us what the win means for his program. Then assistant coach Nate Slutzky provided some insight on his special teams' performance and the play of his corners.
When we went inside the huddle with Mike Nebrich and Mike Marando, we asked what the final drive was like, and what it felt like to have career record setting days in such an incredible setting.
Finally we look ahead to the Columbia game, the annual Liberty Cup. Coach Joe Moorhead looks at the Lions' new personnel and coaches, while we look at what the game means beyond the gridiron.
