Morning Brief: December 24

There was already little hope for a white Christmas Eve in New York, but now it looks as though the unseasonable warmth could even break records. The National Weather Service predicts today’s high to outstrip the previous record (63 degrees in 1996) by a whopping seven to ten degrees. And, they say it won’t stop there. Christmas Day is also looking potentially record-breaking, with highs likely to climb into the 60s.
