Morning Brief: July 20

This weekend President Obama and his daughters visited New York City. The big question many people were asking was which hotel would the President stay at? Many people thought the President would stay at the Waldorf Astoria, considering past presidents have stayed there. But it turned out that the President stayed at One UN New York. Some reports say this change occurred because the Waldorf is now under Chinese ownership. ABC News states that the White House may have been concerned about Chinese surveillance. The President will be back in New York City in September to address the United Nations.
