Morning Brief: May 4

Trump

Tuesday night was a big one on the campaign trail, particularly for the GOP. After Donald Trump’s landslide victory in Indiana, the Republican Party seems more likely than ever to swing in his favor and elect him nominee, without going to a contested convention in July. This task was made easier for Trump last night as well when Texas Senator Ted Cruz, Trump’s closest rival, bowed out of the race.  Ohio Governor John Kasich is still in the running, though he trails far behind in delegates.
