Folk singer, activist, and icon Peter Yarrow is busier than ever, making music and supporting worthy causes. He'll be doing both on Thursday, September 29 in a concert at Symphony Space.

He and his old friend Noel Paul Stookey will perform the songs of Peter, Paul and Mary, backed by a string ensemble and members of the New York Choral Society, conducted by Robert DeCormier, PP&M's longtime music director.

The concert will honor DeCormier, who's now 94 years old, and benefit Operation Respect, the anti-bullying organization Peter founded in 1999. Peter returned to WFUV to tell us about the concert and introduce a pair of brand new songs.
