Steve Earle: The Loft at City Winery 2019

Steve Earle has been one of the most influential songwriters of the last several decades. On Guy, his new album with the Dukes, it’s clear how much of an influence its namesake Guy Clark had on Earle's songwriting process.
The album is a wonderful homage to Clark's music, life, and legacy. I was lucky enough to talk to Earle about it in a recent show at The Loft at City Winery in front of some very happy WFUV Marquee members. You’ll hear that conversation, some great renditions of Clark favorites, and a few Earle classics on this edition of FUV Live.
