Tank and the Bangas come from New Orleans, and are as colorful, bold, musical and unpredictable as the city they call home. They are a six-piece band led by Tarriona Ball, nicknamed Tank, who's a powerful wordsmith with a solid history performing spoken word.

Green Balloon, the band's latest album, is a collection of songs that weaves stories and vignettes into a true musical stew. This is a group that shines in live performance — no two shows are ever the same.

On this night, at the Performance Space at Universal Music in New York City, they brought fun, improvisation, and good vibes in classic Tank and the Bangas fashion.
