UKNY for March 24

Sacred Paws, the cracking duo of guitarist Rachel Aggs and drummer Eilidh Rodgers, won Scottish Album of the Year honors for their buoyant 2017 debut, Strike a Match. Aggs took out some time for her other band, Shopping, but now Sacred Paws return with their second release, Run Around the Sun, which comes out on May 31. Tonight on UKNY at 11, the dynamic first single from that forthcoming record.

Jeremy Warmsley weighs in with his song of the month, as he cycles through the year, track by track, plus something just plain gorgeous from These New Puritans as brothers Jack and George Barnett drift towards the romantic on their just-released album, Inside the Rose. Also, new offerings via Nilüfer Yanya, Foals, Little Simz, and the mysterious masked London duo, Jadu Heart.

New Zealand's French for Rabbits have just wrapped their first Stateside tour (they were here in New York on Friday night) and I'll have something from the pair's most recent album, The Weight of Melted Snow.
